THE HENDRIX RITUAL CONTINUES
The ONLY authentic Jimi Hendrix show is what “VOODOO CHILD” claims to be and rightly so!!! Fronted by Jimy Bleu (who in his own words is carrying on the Hendrix tradition through direct lineage), the 3-piece band presents an unbeatable high-energy stage show, augmenting much of Hendrix’ material with today’s Rock, Funk, Caribbean, Jazz, Worldbeat & Hip-Hop rhythms.  A former Columbia/Def Jam recording artist in his own right, Jimy has been performing a detailed Hendrix tribute worldwide since 1968. 

Starting in the late 1970’s, he has also been giving lectures on radio & TV, expounding the musical, spiritual & political importance of Hendrix. In 1983, Jimy performed and acted in an off-Broadway play based on Hendrix’ life which was recently made into a short film. 
Over the years, “VOODOO CHILD” has performed in major venues across the globe, including the Woodstock 25th anniversary “Freedom Fest” (as featured act), Atlanta Pop Festival and Reggae Sunsplash, to name a few. They have also appeared on German TV, B. B. C. in London and MTV.  “VOODOO CHILD” re-creates (some say even surpasses) the excitement and power of the original "Jimi Hendrix Experience".
